Choose your underboss

We all know that choosing the correct Underboss supported by corresponding Equipment and Specialties can bring great attribute buffs. So how should we choose the Underboss?

In this guide, the Secretary will introduce how to choose your Underboss and how the battles are affected differently by Underbosses.

1 - How to choose your Underboss

First, you can only choose the Enforcers you have as your Underboss. The Secretary recommends you to choose the most commonly used combat Enforcers as your Underboss. Here are the reasons:

When you attack enemies, the buffs provided by your Equipment and Specialties will only be effective if your Underboss is in the Crew.

If you forget to add your Underboss, all your Equipment and Specialties will be ineffective and you may lose your battle. Therefore, if you choose your main combat Enforcers as your Underboss, you won’t forget to add them in the Crew!

Second, as Enforcers have different skills, you can switch your Underboss depending on the current situation and choose the corresponding Equipment and Specialties.

Example: If you need to increase your Bruiser ATK, you can choose Killer Queen, Mike, and any other Enforcers who have Bruiser ATK buffs as your Underboss. In addition, you should choose Equipment and Specialties with Bruiser buffs so that your Bruisers in the Crew can be enhanced.

Tips:

Enforcer Skills have two categories: Development and Combat.

1. Development: Takes effect once the Enforcer is recruited and the skill is unlocked.

Do not choose Jade as your Underboss as she has no Combat Skills! However, all three of her Development Skills take effect without having to be the Underboss.

2. Combat: Only effective when the Enforcer is in the Crew or defensive lineup

Do not choose Jade as your Underboss as she has no Combat Skills! However, all three of her Development Skills take effect without having to be the Underboss.

2 - How battles are affected differently by Underbosses

Note: Not all buffs take effect when your Underboss is in the Crew. There are many different situations that take place in battle.

1. Underboss with Crew: All Combat Skills, Equipment, and Underboss Specialties will take effect.

2. Underboss on Defense: If your Underboss is in the Mansion, they will automatically defend your Mansion. All Combat Skills, Equipment, and Underboss Specialties will take effect.

3. Underboss Is Sent out or in the Safehouse: When your Mansion is attacked, all Combat Skills, Equipment, and Underboss Specialties combat buffs will be ineffective.

4. Underboss Is Imprisoned or Executed: All of the Underboss’s Skills, Equipment, and Underboss Specialties will be ineffective.

And that was the introduction to choosing your Underboss, we hope this helps and that you have found it useful!
